PrenupsAI

For the person who received the draft

You were handed a prenup. You do not have to decode it alone.

A draft can arrive as an email attachment, a shared folder, or a file on your phone. The useful first step is not to decide whether to sign. It is to see what the language actually says, what it may omit, and which questions belong with independent counsel.

PrenupsAI is educational issue-spotting with receipts. It is not legal advice, a prediction of enforceability, or a recommendation to sign or refuse.

Start with the file you already have

Use the original text-based PDF, Word file, or plain-text export. Import it from Files, email, or iCloud. Phone photos, screenshots, and scanned image PDFs are not accepted yet, because every finding has to quote extractable text. If you only have a picture, ask for the original file or take the picture to a lawyer. Camera review is a later project, not a hidden shortcut.

The review default is “I received this draft.” That framing does not assume anyone’s gender, income, or bargaining power. It simply matches the common situation: one person is looking at language someone else prepared.

What a useful first read actually does

The report explains clauses in plain language, maps who a term may favor on the face of the document, lists missing exhibits and disclosure gaps, and collects questions for a licensed attorney. Quotes are checked against the uploaded text. Legal citations come from the selected state’s evidence package, not from invented statutes.

There is no account and no email capture. The file is processed in server memory and discarded. The report stays in the current session unless you download or print it.

Then prepare, don’t improvise

After a review, use the guided quiz to pick a state, a lifecycle stage, and one issue. Open that state’s checklist and the printable worksheet. Keep notes on your device. None of those tools decide governing law or tell you what to sign. They keep the homework organized for the conversation with counsel.
